Recently, several nationwide card breaches have been made public. CommunityOne Bank works closely with Visa to provide our customers protection from fraud, including fraud that may result from these card breaches. Depending on the size and severity of a card breach, for your protection, we may send you a new debit or credit card and your old card will be closed. When this occurs, we will notify you by letter.
Here are a few things you can do to protect yourself from fraud as a consumer:
- Review your account activity on a regular basis. For debit card holders, access your account activity through CommunityOne’s Online Banking, Mobile Banking app or Telephone Banking (800.873.1194). For credit card holders, visit www.myaccountaccess.com to view transactions.
- If fraudulent activity is found, contact us as soon as possible.
